Evaluation e-Learning programme in Development Evaluation

UNICEF and IOCE have announced an introductory e-Learning programme on Development Evaluation. The e-Learning programme is free and open to all interested people as a student may attend virtually from their personal or work computer anywhere in the world.

The course includes online lectures, requested reading material, and simple multiple-choice tests. Participants also have the opportunity to engage in an online discussion forum. At the end of each course, if 80% of the answers on the multiple-choice test are correct, participants will be able to print out a certificate of “virtual” attendance.

The courses will be opened twice in 2015: from 19 January 2015 – 18 May 2015, and from 26 May 2015 – 17 September 2015. These new e-Learning courses have been developed as a pilot. The lectures are the edited versions of recorded webinars. The aim is to further improve the courses based upon the feedback received by participants.

This e-Learning programme comprises an introductory class with fixed courses to follow.

Introduction

Fixed courses

Custom course

The courses have independent units from which a student can a create their own course. This is done by selecting the ten units (out of the courses available) that are the most relevant to your work.

Reduced units

A student can take just a few units and not an entire course if they wish to have the most flexible approach that does not include certification.

Further information

Potential students can watch an introductory video below before deciding whether to proceed.

Students can take the “Introductory class on Development Evaluation” before registering for the rest of the course.
